A draft ordering a payment to Benjamin Sedwick “for Board & Necessaries to Continental Prisoners quartered at Canaan.” Signed at the conclusion by Ellsworth, and also signed by John Lawrence. In very good condition, with intersecting folds one through a single letter of signature, small spot to bottom portion, uniform toning, small pinhole of paper loss, and show-through from docketing on reverse.
