Description

“How four people can be served with a generous portion from a few left overs”

Signed typed recipe, signed “G. W. Carver,” on an 8.5 x 3.5 onionskin sheet. Titled at the top, “How four people can be served with a generous portion from a few left overs,” the recipe goes on to describe how to make chopped meat, “add one scant tablespoon of peanut butter,” and boil with milk to serve over toast, potatoes, or biscuits; and an unsigned note on the reverse of a 6 x 3.5 mailing envelope, inviting a couple to a fair. In very good condition, with creasing and wrinkling to recipe, and scattered toning and soiling to envelope, as well as a torn right edge. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
