Peel was Prime Minister from 1841–1846 making this letter relatively early in Queen Victoria’s reign. In part: “The Queen wld. Be glad to see Sir Robt. Peel at 1/4 p. 1 today or at later…” Scattered light toning and soiling, pencil remnants to top, and thin mounting remnant to reverse of second integral page, otherwise fine condition.
