Grace Moore

Internationally famous star of the Metropolitan Opera, Broadway, motion pictures, radio and recordings (1898–1947) was also known as, and played, ‘The Tennessee Nightingale.’ She died tragically in an airplane crash in 1947. It has been claimed that Elvis Presley's ‘Graceland’ mansion was named in honor of her. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Moore kneeling in a chair, signed, and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Best wishes, Grace Moore.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of March 25, 1936, the date the signature was acquired.
