German World War I military hero (1847–1934) and president of Germany from 1925 to 1934. DS, in German, signed “von Hindenburg,” one page both sides, 8 x 13, May 1, 1929. Untranslated military document, listing eight officers. Boldly signed at the conclusion by von Hindenburg, and countersigned by two other officers. In very good condition, with intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, partial separations along folds, uniform toning, and a couple small pencil notations.
