Scarce franking signature of the shortest serving First Lady

Wife (1775–1864) of President William Henry Harrison and grandmother of President Benjamin Harrison, who served nominally as First Lady of the United States during her husband's one-month term in 1841, but she never entered the White House. Rare ink franking signature, “Free Anna Harrison,” on an off-white 4.25 x 1.75 off-white clipped slip, dated in another hand, “August 26,” and affixed to a slightly larger off-white card. In fine condition, with some scattered light foxing. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
