Pioneering Hungarian-born French artist (1906–1997) generally regarded as the founder of the Op Art movement that peaked during the Psychedelic Sixties. An original vibrantly colorful acrylic paint artwork on an 8 x 6 canvas panel. Vasarely has incorporated a signature and inscription into the work, which reads, “Miss Jennifeeer Cuningham, Cordialement, Vasarely, 16.10.1988.” The artist has also highlighted the edges with various lines and shapes. In fine condition, with some light bleeding to the blue paint.
