Ringo sends a few pounds to Apple songwriter Graham Lyle

Business check, drawn on the Apple Records, Inc. account, 7.75 x 3.5, filled out in another hand and signed “R. Starkey” by Ringo Starr, payable to Graham Lyle for £9.99, March 5, 1974. Encapsulated in a plastic PSA/DNA authentication holder grading the autograph “GEM MT 10.” Two punch holes at the top, bank stamps and cancellations, and show-through from two pieces of white tape on the reverse, otherwise fine condition. Lyle was a fellow British musician who focused on American rock and blues music. In the 1960s he signed to the Beatles‘ newly formed Apple company as a full-time songwriters and wrote songs for Mary Hopkin and other Apple acts. Pre-certified Roger Epperson/REAL and RRAuction COA.
