Puccini,” on both sides of one of his 4.25 x 2.75 visiting cards, January 3, 1912. Letter to Mr. Lichtenberg about his opera Fanciula del West. Translated in full: “Sends his regards and warmly thanks the distinguished Maestro Lichtenberg for the many courtesies extended to him in the occasion of the…[his opera]…Fanciulla [del West] in Budapest with the wish that soon he may become the director in some good theatre. Best regards to your very kind wife.” In very good to fine condition, with scattered light soiling and edge staining, a couple of diagonal creases, one lightly affecting end of signature, and some minor surface loss to right edge, lightly affecting end of signature.
