American actor (1924–1966), best known as the trail boss Gil Favor on the popular television series Rawhide, who drowned at the age of 42 while filming a television pilot in Peru. Vintage glossy 10 x 8 photo of Fleming on horseback, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Marian–Much love–yours–Eric Fleming.” In very good condition, with some light irregular ink adhesion to signature and inscription, scattered light creases, and light curling to vertical edges.
