Sammy Davis, Jr.’s, personal passport, number E1295015, issued on June 11, 1974. Photo bears an embossed State Department seal over facial area. Five of the inside pages bear official visa stamps, most on both sides, from England (1974), France (1974 and 1979), Japan (1976), Denmark, and Australia (1977 and 1978). Staples to the reverse of the Japanese visa page is a Japanese record of purchase of commodities for tax-exempt export, stating that Davis purchased a Toshiba radio. Information page also bears a large “Cancelled” stamp across personal information page. In fine condition, with expected handling and age wear and stamps, and some scattered light soiling. A well-used personal item, enhanced by two signatures, chronicling a fairly busy period for Davis. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
