Dapper vintage matte-finish 11 x 14 Hurrell photo of O’Brien in an ascot and top hat, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To ‘Bud’ whose smile can light up the Studio ‘Long may ye wave’ Pat O’Brien.” In very good condition, with a few scattered light surface marks, dings, and creases, a small tear to left edge, and several ink drops to photo. Photo’s recipient was noted make-up artist Bud Westmore, who is credited on over 450 movies and television shows, including To Kill a Mockingbird, Man of a Thousand Faces, The Andromeda Strain, and Creature from the Black Lagoon.
