Best known for his illustrations for such classic literary works as Treasure Island, Last of the Mohicans, and Robinson Crusoe, Original signed ink sketch of a native American with an elaborate headdress, standing in profile on an off-white 3.5 x 2.25 card. Signed, “Yours truly, N. C. Wyeth -06-.” In fine condition. Some of Wyeth’s most famous works were Native American illustrations for James Fenimore Cooper’s The Last of the Mohicans.
