Freelance photographer who photographed many of Hollywood’s stars during the 1950s and 60s. He is perhaps best known for his work with Marilyn Monroe, however, with whom he was collaborating on a book at the time of her death. Satin-finish 8 x 10 photo of Marilyn frolicking along the surf in Santa Monica in 1962, signed in black felt tip by Barris.
