DuChaillu,” two pages on two adjoining sheets, 4.5 x 7, Langham Hotel letterhead, May 9, 1890. In part: “I have received your very kind note. I wanted to…thank you for the very pleasant evening I had at your house…I am very glad you like ‘The Land of the Midnight Sun.’” In very good condition, with a few spots of toning and moderate soiling along the edges of the adjacent page from mounting remnants on the reverse.
