In addition to her career as an actress, Palmer (1914–1986) was also a gifted writer. Her autobiography, Change Lobsters and Dance, and her 1978 novel The Red Raven both received critical praise. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 head-and-shoulders photo of Palmer in floral print top, signed in-person in fountain pen. Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of April 29, 1950, the date the signature was acquired. Some scattered light creases and surface scratches, otherwise fine condition.
