American actress (1913–1986) best remembered for her appearance in the 1933 filial-simian sequel Son of Kong. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 Radio Pictures publicity photo, credited to Robert Coburn, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “Good luck Saul, Helen Mack.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of September 3, 1941, the date the signature was acquired. Reverse also bears an Advertising Advisory Council approval stamp and a promotional caption stating Mack is playing the role of Matie in Captain Hurricane. In very good condition, with scattered creases and surface marks, some light rubbing to finish, and a small tear to top edge. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
