Actress (1892–1979) known as ‘America’s sweetheart’ who won the Academy Award for Best Actress for 1929’s Coquette. She was also a co-founder of the film studio United Artists. Pretty vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of the actress with short hair, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Mary Pickford.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of November 7, 1936, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with some scattered light surface marks and dings. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
