Actor (1904–1972) best remembered as Fay Wray’s savior in 1933’s King Kong, Cabot was a drinking buddy of John Wayne’s and spent the latter part of his career working almost exclusively in the Duke’s starring vehicles. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 head-and-shoulders photo, signed and inscribed in-person in fountain pen “To Saul, Bruce Cabot.” Reverse of photo bears collector’s stamp date of March 4, 1939, the date the signature was acquired. In fine condition, with a couple trivial corner tip dings. Pre-certified PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
