Pioneering Hungarian-born French artist (1906–1997) generally regarded as the founder of the Op Art movement that peaked during the Psychedelic Sixties. An original vibrantly colorful acrylic paint artwork by Vasarely on an 8 x 6 canvas panel. Vasarely has incorporated a signature and inscription into the work, which reads, "Miss Jennifeeer Cuningham, Cordialement, Vasarely, 16.10.1988." Vasarely has highlighted the edges with various lines and shapes. In fine condition, with some light bleeding to the blue paint. Originally done as a gift, Vasarely almost never did any type of artwork in response to requests, especially one as detailed and colorful as offered here. RRAuction COA.
