American ace during World War II. He completed 75 missions, and among his most noteable victories were the shooting down of two Messerschmitt 262s in October of 1944. Three items: a pencil signature on a 3.5 x 2 collector's card; a glossy 8 x 10 photo of Drew in uniform, signed in black felt tip; and a one page TLS, 8.5 x 11, dated November 6, 1995. Drew responds to several questions about his missions, the P-38, and asks for a comparison between German and Japanese fighter pilots, to which he writes, "I can assure you that on average, the very best fighter pilots during WWII were indeed the Germans." In fine condition. RRAuction COA.
