Not knowing about your dinner I made some plans which will make me a half-hour late. When I see you I will explain. I know you will forgive me for being a little late. When I arrive I will simply slip in quietly to my place…I am awfully sorry to learn that General Rees is confined in Walter Reed Hospital.
