Eighteen handmade collector's mailing envelopes, all 6.5 x 3.75, all postmarked in 1932, each signed in ink by a different member of the 1932 St. Louis Browns or Cardinals. Cardinal signers are: Pepper Martin (on an affixed clipped slip), Jesse Haines, Bill Hallahan, Sylvester Johnson (pencil), 'Hatty Watkins, and Miguel Gonzales. Browns signers are: Rick Ferrell, Benny Bengough, Lin Storti, Walter Stewart, Fred Schulte, Jim Levey, Wallace Hebert, Carl Fischer, Sam Gray, Irving 'Bump' Hadley, Bruce Campbell, Irving Burns, George Blaeholder, and Larry Bettencourt. All envelopes bear typed collector's notations and address, with a couple also bearing clipped photos. In very good condition, with scattered creasing, toning and soiling. RRAuction COA.
