Hall of Famer (1903-1973) who spoke loudly with his bat, overcoming several beanings, weak eyes, and severe sinus problems to become an outstanding line-drive hitter for the Cardinals and Reds. Scarce gold Hall of Fame plaque card signed in the upper left corner in blue ballpoint. Last few letters of signature light, but legible, and minor rubbing of finish along top (done for better signature adhesion), otherwise fine condition. Accompanied by a short ANS, signed "Chick Hafey," written at the bottom of a collector's request for his signature. Hafey writes: "I will be happy to answer your questions for your interview."
