Stowe pens a stirring inspirational quotation from Uncle Tom's Cabin

AQS on an off-white 6 x 8 album page, signed “Harriet Beecher Stowe, Feby. 9th, 1894.” An extract from Chapter 12 of Uncle Tom’s Cabin. In full: “Not one throb of anguish/Not one tear of the oppressed/Is forgotten by the Man of/Sorrows the Lord of Glory./In his patient generous bosom/he bears the anguish of a world.” Light scattered toning and soiling, horizontal fold, and a few small stains (lightly touching first letter of signature and a few words of text), otherwise fine condition.
