In full: 'I have received no papers concerning the Rhodes examinations except the enclosed letter. Will you not be kind enough to have a copy of it made and return the original to me. Further papers may turn up in my mail this summer. In that case they will come to your office.' The letter is affixed to a slightly larger piece of cardboard.
