An interesting Garfield mini-archive, highlighted by a signed free frank and a piece of funeral drapery

Free-franked envelope, 6.75 x 3.5, addressed in another hand to Edward Fitch in Ashtabula, Ohio, and franked at the top, 'J. A. Garfield, mc.' In very good condition, with wrinkling and soiling. Accompanied by several pieces of unsigned Garfield ephemera including a small piece of the hempen matting and black funeral drapery material from Garfield’s funeral, an 1879 and an 1880 pamphlet on Garfield’s speeches, two programs from Garfield memorial services, black-bordered 'In Memoriam' card, a small hardcover book honoring the president’s life and death, ten Garfield election tickets, and four unsigned portraits. A remarkable archive, with assassination associaton! Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
