Noted sports cartoonist. Five original hand-drawn cartoon artwork by Uhlman in the 1930s, averaging approximately 14 x 18, depicting various boxing scenes. Subjects include: Jack Dempsey, James J. Braddock, Joe Louis, and Max Schmeling. The reverse of one item bears an unfinished scene. Each is signed at the bottom in ink, 'Gus Uhlman.'
