Signer of the US Constitution from Pennsylvania. LS signed “Thos Fitzsimmons,” one page, 7 x 6, January 15, 1790. Letter to librarian Mr, Paulson. In part: “I authorize Mr. Stricht to take out any books during my absence in New York.” Scattered foxing, intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, a bit of paper loss along edges, and a hole to top right, otherwise very good condition. Fitzsimmons’s signature is very bold and largely unaffected by the flaws. RRAuction COA.
