LS, one page, 7.25 x 10.5, personal letterhead, July 21, 1948. Letter to a collector regarding a sent photo and missing book. In part: “I was away at the time and there are many requests made of me and I try to comply. As you see I am returning a picture, and not sure if it was the one you sent but I hope it is…It is possible the book is at Menlo Park and might not have been forwarded to the above address…if it is at Menlo Park, I will autograph and return. Drop me a line and let me know if the enclosed picture is the one you sent, also very important always enclose postage for return.” In fine condition, with a couple of trivial corner tip creases, and a uniform shade of mild toning.
