In full: “Your very nice letter of recent date received, and it was nice to know that you are a baseball fan. I regret very much that I do not have a uniform picture to send to you. It has been so long since I played, the pictures have either been destroyed or misplaced.” In fine condition, with a crease at the top edge and a horizontal mailing fold touching the base of his signature.
