Slight, sad-looking character actor (1935–1978) best known for his screen debut as Fredo, the weak-willed son of Don Corleone, in Francis Ford Coppola's classic The Godfather. Cazale holds a singular distinction in the annals of Hollywood history: All six films in which he appeared (including an archival appearance in The Godfather, Part III) were nominated for Best Picture. Uncommon felt tip in-person signature and inscription, “To Joe–Warmest regards, John Cazale,” on an off-white 5 x 3 card. In very fine condition. Just one of a scant handful we have seen.
