Presidential pardon issued to Loomis Willard “convicted of a violation of the Postal laws of the United States…also convicted of violating the Internal Revenue Laws and was sentenced to the Penitentiary, one year for the first offense, and two months for the second; And whereas, it is represented that, since the said Loomis Willard’s release from prison, he has led a reputable life and that he is a suitable subject for the restoration of his rights of citizenship. Now therefore, be it known, that I, Grover Cleveland, do hereby grant to Loomis Willard, a full and unconditional pardon.” In good condition, with a complete, but repairable, separation along a horizontal fold, not affecting any of the text, but resulting in the document being in two separate pieces, partial separations along several other fragile folds, and scattered light toning.
