Racing Hall of Famer (1916-1995), who in 1936 was thrown from his horse during a race and pronounced dead. In the mortuary, he was revived with a shot of adrenaline and returned to the racetrack and demanded to be allowed to ride. He was not permitted to do so until the next day. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo of Neves in his racing colors, signed and inscribed in fountain pen 'To Jim, Best wishes, Sincerely, Ralph Neves.'
