National Track and Field Hall of Famer (1910-1991) and co-founder of the New York Pioneer Club. He tutored a number of track and field athletes, including six Olympic Gold Medalists. Vintage glossy 8 x 10 photo, signed and inscribed in blue ink 'To Jim, Joe Yancey, Director-Coach New York Pioneer Club.' Photo is affixed to an identical size board. Moderate creases to lower portion of image, paperclip impression to right edge, some light surface marks, some light silvering, and a tear next to inscription, otherwise very good condition.
