Among the first players elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1936, Cobb (1886–1967) is considered to be the greatest player of the ‘Dead-Ball’ era. Vintage 7.75 x 9.5 photo of Cobb in his Detroit Tigers uniform taking batting practice, signed in fountain pen, 'Ty Cobb, 7/21/48.' In fine condition, with scattered creases, mainly confined to the periphery, and a few tiny spots of soiling. A nice bold signature. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
