Vintage pearl-finish 7.5 x 9.5 photo of Marciano posing with Detroit police officer, and noted area collector, Louis Schlosser, at Marciano‘s training camp in Holland, Michigan, signed and inscribed in blue ink “Best wishes to Lou, Rocky Marciano.” Photo is also signed in fountain pen by Schlosser. Affixed to the reverse is a newspaper clipping featuring the same image of the two posing together, with the caption noting the Schlosser visited Marciano at his training camp and stayed for two days, as well as a new column written by Schlosser about Marciano. In fine condition, with lighly trimmed edges, and a bit of light contrast to Marciano’s signature, but still completely legible. Pre-certified Steve Grad/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
