In part: “Nothing would delight us more than to take supper with you Saturday…Mr. Lothrop is in New York, will return Friday night…So you see I cannot help but send our regrets…With great disappointment and many thanks.” In fine condition, with central horizontal fold, light overall toning, and a few words a shade or two light, but completely legible, due to reduced ink flow.
