American statesman (1794–1865) who served in the House and Senate and as President of Harvard, Minister to Great Britain, and Secretary of State. Two DSs, each a Boston Public Library certificate recognizing a book donation, one page, 8 x 10, one from 1854 and the other from 1855, each signed by Everett as president of the library board. In overall very good to fine condition, with fold lines, scattered toning, and the 1854 document displaying mild soiling. RRAuction COA.
