Two one-page TLSs, both on personal letterhead, from 1933 and 1958. One letter is to 'Mary' and the other to a Mr. Wiseman. The first letter reads in part: "Many, many thanks to you for the medals, and for your kind thought…These, after all, are things which everyone in public life expects and must be taken calmly. I am looking forward to seeing you after we are settled in Washington.' The first letter shows creasing, a tiny tear along the right side of the mailing fold, wrinkling at the top, and show-through from paper residue on the reverse, otherwise overall fine condition.
