Two one-page TLSs, both on LBJ Ranch letterhead, from 1973 and 1976. One letter is to a Mrs. Sweeney sent just a few weeks after Lyndon B. Johnson’s death, and the other a thank-you message to a Mrs. Pruett. The first letter reads in part: "Your letter, filled with remembrances, was heartwarming. You were so sweet to turn your thoughts our way and to console us with them. President Johnson was a man who wanted his friends around him while he was alive…and I know that he would have felt warm and comforted that you wrote to express your sympathy.” In fine overall condition.
