Apollo 16 lunar arrival postal cover with a stamped cachet honoring the arrival on station of man’s first moon based space observatory, signed in black ink by Ken Mattingly, John Young, and Charlie Duke. Cover bears a Washington, D. C. Smithsonian Station postmark, dated April 20th 1972, the day Apollo 16 arrived at the Moon and undocked the lunar module. In fine condition.
