Glossy 10 x 8 photo of the USNS Redstone, signed in black ink in a white silhouette of the Apollo 11 capsule integral to the image at lower left, “Neil Armstrong,” “Buzz Aldrin,” and “M. Collins.” Accompanied by a notarized letter of provenance from the original owner, who explains that he was a contract employee on the Redstone from 1967 to 1969, and that he specially prepared the photo and obtained the signatures through NASA. A few dings, surface marks, and light creases (one just touching top of Armstrong’s “A”), and slight fading to Armstrong’s signature (which remains clear and well contrasted against the white background; tops of initials against darker background), otherwise fine condition.
