Rare letter from the founder of Browning Arms

Firearms designer (1855-1926) who is arguably the most important figure in the development of modern automatic and semi-automatic firearms and is credited with 128 gun patents. Rare TLS signed “John Browning,” one page, 8.5 x 11, Browning Arms Co. letterhead, October 2, 1923. Letter to the Kenton Store Company. In full: “Replying to your inquiry of September 26th. We give you the names of Von Lengerke & Antoine, Chicago, Kelly Duluth Company, Deluth and the William Frankforth Company of Milwaukee as jobbers who have received shipments of our Arms.” Intersecting folds, one through a single letter of signature, and scattered toning, primarily to edges, with a couple of other scattered spots, otherwise fine condition.
