A ticket stub from the October 26, 1985, gridiron match-up between Michigan State and Purdue University, 4.25 x 2, signed in black felt tip by Neil Armstrong. According to the consignor, the original recipient had attended the same game at Ross-Ade Stadium in Lafayette, Indiana, and was seated in front of Armstrong. Armstrong was honored at the game as part of an Astronaut Day celebration, after which the moonwalker and Purdue alumnus signed this ticket. In fine condition, with vertical crease, scattered surface scratches touching Armstrong’s name, and an Indiana notary public seal over the pictured football helmet. Accompanied by a color NASA photo of the Apollo 11 crew with an Apollo 8 commemorative stamp affixed. A unique souvenir, as by 1985, Armstrong routinely refused autograph requests.
