Uncommon ALS in Russian, signed “Sh. Aleichem,” one page, lightly-lined, 6.75 x 8.5, no date. Letter to Mr. Yubakovich. In full (translated): “Mr. Yubakovich requesting one copy of each short story. Address: Ilyanskaya 3, Hotel Leipzig, Apt. 2.” Beneath his signature, in Yiddish, he adds, “2nd short story—at Krinskiy’s.” In very good condition, with scattered toning, creasing, and wrinkling, professional repairs to separations along central horizontal fold, and paper loss to lower left corner.
