Short letter in his difficult to decipher hand reads, in part: “Also handed Felix…the letter with H.L.S. interview…Felix says he will write you about this. There are many dark clouds. But I think much reason for hope.” In his short postscript, Brandeis writes, “We plan to leave for Washington this evening.” Punch holes to top edge, a few light creases, crossed out notation to top right, and a mild shade of toning, otherwise fine condition.
