Vintage matte-finish 5.25 x 7.5 oval-shaped C. M. Bell photo affixed to its 8.5 x 12 cardboard mount, signed and inscribed on the mount in fountain pen “To Gardiner Lathrop with the regards of Theodore Roosevelt. May 18th, 1905.” In very good condition, with cracking, chipping, and silvering to the image and mild soiling and missing corners to the mount. Most of the mount’s faults can be easily matted out.
