Vintage glossy 8.25 x 11 photo of president Eisenhower waving from a moving automobile, signed in fountain pen by Eisenhower, perhaps as president, and also co-signed by Kentucky Senator John Sherman Cooper and Transylvania College President Frank A. Rose. It depicts the three men on their way to dedicate the Frances Carrick Thomas Library at Transylvania College, KY on April 23, 1954. Scattered light creases, surface marks, and impressions, and a couple trivial edge tears, otherwise fine condition. Eisenhower’s presence at the dedication was integral in the university’s financial drive that year. Pre-certified John Reznikoff/PSA/DNA and RRAuction COA.
