Christmas card from 1981, 10 x 7 open, embossed in gold on the outside with their respective royal coat of arms. Inside, the card bears a satin-finish 4 x 5 color wedding photo of Charles and Diana. Printed opposite the photograph is the sentiment “With all Good Wishes for Christmas and the New Year,” inscribed at the top “Charles” and signed at the bottom in black felt tip, “and love from Charles” with his new bride adding “and Diana.” Cloth matted and framed to an overall size of 13.75 x 10.75 with a small placard that reads: “1981 To The Godson of Prince Charles.” The back of the frame is specially cut to reveal each coat of arms. In fine condition. The future king’s godson was Charles Tryon, son of Charles’ close friends, Lord and Lady Tryon.
